Situated in the delightful village of Loch in South Gippsland is nestled The Gilded Lily Steakhouse Restaurant. Owners Helga and Mick bring many decades of experience to this traditional period style venue. Fully refurbished to reflect the elegant period style and to create a warm ambiance within comfortable, intimate surroundings. We want to showcase the best of Gippsland produce in our own unique way and offer a special dining experience to our guests.
Our aim is to create dishes that are locally farmed, caught from the sea, pulled from the kitchen garden, house baked, cured and crafted with care – showcasing the excellent and varied produce Gippsland has to offer each season.
As a steakhouse we will feature the very best cuts of prime, aged, grass fed Gippsland beef, fine Gippsland lamb, seafood “right off the boats” from Bass Strait along side the best seasonal ingredients our local growers produce and that we are proud to showcase on our menu.
Our menu changes according to what’s in season, any new tasty surprises from our local suppliers and the kitchen creating new ways to showcase it all. We can also tailor a set menu to suit your function. Here is a sample of what we offer.
We are proud of our carefully selected ( and growing! ) beverage list that is supporting small local Gippsland producers along side some small regional and international makers crafting wine with care.
Beverages on offer include craft spirits, cocktails, local & international wine ( with some aged gems from our cellar ) and craft beer.
